Building community and connection on a hybrid team requires intention and humanity. Chrissie was able to provide this to my team in spades during a recent team dynamics exploration she crafted. Her facilitation style allowed people to be present with each other, even though they were far away. People felt safe enough to truly explore how the team was working, build shared understandings, and identify specific actions to take going forward. Since her session, many on the team have referenced the learnings they gained in their day-to-day work. It's had a tremendous impact on our effectiveness as an organization.
Chrissie has more superpowers than anyone I’ve ever worked with, but the two that have always amazed me the most are her ability to build relationships quickly, and to ask incredibly insightful questions. I think these superpowers come from the same place: Chrissie leads with curiosity, listens closely, and is able to process, understand, and draw connections in the blink of an eye. It’s been a few years since we’ve worked together, but whenever I get stuck, Chrissie is still the first person I call.
Chrissie has helped me to navigate many experiences throughout my career, and to find a path forward. Her approach involves active listening and taking the time to understand what’s been shared with her. Regardless of the topic I’ve brought to Chrissie, she has this amazing ability to ask insightful questions, encourage me to think deeper, and really learn to trust and believe in myself and my capabilities. I’ve had to overcome a number of different challenges, whether that be learning a new skill, figuring out my next career move, or working through unfamiliar and ambiguous situations. I’ve been fortunate to work closely with Chrissie in the past, and she remains someone who I always turn to when I’m faced with whatever new challenge comes my way.
